In today’s story, a newlywed gets a private message from her husband’s ex-wife claiming he’s been trying to contact her for years, even three days before the wedding. She paints him as charming when he’s good and “torture” when he’s bad, and says she feels obligated to warn the new wife. The problem is, the couple isn’t big on social media, the marriage to the ex was messy and long over, and even another ex and the husband’s family believe this looks like pot-stirring. The wife tells her husband, they read the message together, he denies contacting the ex and even offers his phone, and now the big question is whether to reply or ignore and protect the peace.
