So fun and informative.

We were able to spend a couple day's with Karin Miller, Founder of Zen Tenkara out here on the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River in North Bend, WA. We explored all things Tenkara and talked at length about attributes of the craft that translate extraordinarily well into standard fly fishing.  From playing fish to accurate short casts and of course downstream presentation.

After the day out on the water, the crew made their way back to Emerald Water Anglers to unwind and recap the time. Don't sleep on this one, it's amazing!

Raised in Eugene, Oregon, my stomping grounds were of legendary namesake; the Deschutes, McKenzie and North Umpqua Rivers among others.
