Based upon the true story of the "Warsaw Ghetto Uprising" in 1943. Following their invasion of Poland in September 1939, the Nazis force the Jewish population in Warsaw to relocate to an enclosed area that became known as the "Warsaw Ghetto." After years of Nazi oppression, a small resistance movement rises up and strikes back, eventually holding at bay thousands of German troops for seven months with homemade weapons and their bare hands.
