let me just say i have been looking for a good drawing app. i tried numerous ones but they all had in-app purchases or "pro version subscription". i already knew procreate but i wasnt sure to buy it since it costed $10 (2022 price). but i decided to try and it was FASCINATING! It made the best possible experience for digital artists, especially since the apple pencil exists. thank you for creating this app!
P.S. When procreate dreams comes out i will try it. it could become the best animation app ever!

Hi developers, just want to know why would some working files suddenly disappear from the gallery without warning and there's no way to recover (100% sure they were not accidentally deleted). I have been using Procreate since last year and the first artwork has disappeared recently. A friend of me started using the app for almost 3 years and found out that at least 6 files were no longer in the gallery. Is there any way to deal with this problem? Thank you.

Overall it's really good but please increase the limit of new layers. It’s so hard to draw when I use a bigger canvas Edit: I hope this includes a function to back up stuff to cloud, sync between devices. exporting files manually is inconvenient Edit2: The app is amazing, however whenever I transform a little small bit of the lineart it gets really blurry. This is a problem please fix it thanks Edit3: is there a way save the creation date? When I import an old file the creation date changes to the date it was imported :/

更新了之後液化功能太不好用之餘還有bug。
首先以前在液化途中可以放大縮小畫布，現在卻不能，真的好不方便。另外液化時雙擊撤回的話會有畫面斷裂的情況出現，不論是線條還是色塊都會上下移位分成兩半。用來畫畫的app出現了這些不可饒恕的bug，真心建議快點修復吧。

However, the video recording function always seems to pixilate my art despite the fact that I set it on “studio quality” this is quite a shame to many people in the art community. This app is literally the most amazing and fantastic illustration/calligraphy app EVER!!! It was totally worth the $78 dollars.
There is another feature I would like though. Could the app have a new image saving format that can be saved as GIFs? GIFs are hard to import without expensive softwares like Adobe Photoshop and other pricey apps, but this app is officially the BEST app out there, so could you guys add this new feature if possible please? I never had problems with the palm rejection function when I was on my iPad Air until I switched to iPad Pro 2nd gen. I turn every palm rejection related function on my iPad and as well as in procreate, but when I had my hand on the screen with the Apple Pencil, I can still draw with my fingers, which is super annoying when you had a stroke down and wanted to zoom out, BAM, an extra stroke with your fingers. Not sure what’s happening but greatly appreciated if you guys can look into that

Every function in this app is great and user friendly. This app is totally worthy to purchase. One thing to improve is that the app should be able for users to set their preferences of their hand’s position to avoid “mistouching” while drawing. I always accidentally draw a dot, turn my drawing, or zoom in and out when I put my hand on the iPad while drawing. The drawing experience will be highly enhanced if this problem can be avoided.

overall, this is the best drawing app you can probably ever get :) i love this app. like the tools and functions are great. but there is just this one problem, well at least for me, whenever i rotate or resize my drawing, it just became more and more pixelated and blurry. it really effects the drawing quality. soooooooo seriously I’m obsessed with procreate. but that problems really effects my drawings. fix it maybe? :)))

I have been using and following Procreate since its early days in 2012. You could clearly tell the developers are so enthusiastic to make it a better and better app for painting. I’m a complete noob in painting, but procreate opens me a new world and made me want to learn painting. I bought the new iPad and the Apple Pencil just to enjoy using procreate. Besides painting, I use it for calligraphy.

I think it is great app for drawing and cheaper than other competitors. But I do think this app need brush for lineart like MediBang does. Line art is essential for manga and Japanese drawing style.
In this app, I cannot draw a good line art like whatI can do in medibang. I think the brush may need a function of "correction" to make the tip or edge of every stroke in a best position. Also, I need to spend so much time connecting every stroke’s end while drawing. In medibang, every stroke’s end can really easily connect the next stroke. I can steadfastly compete the lineart there.
Hope you can kindly improve the line art drawing experience.

The app itself is really good, but there’s one thing missing : a stabilizer.
Every artists with shaking hands struggle when they want to do lineart, or other stuff .
It will be really great if you could add it in please !!

I really love the app, it has so many great features. But what will make it much better to anyone who comes across it is to add a few more bushes, and maybe a single BLENDING tool.

Okay! I’m so excited for the new updates! Thank you for adding the the text, gif functions and etc. This app has always been one of my favourite apps and my No.1 app for me to do calligraphy, drawing, projects and stuff. Before the updates, I usually recommend this app to my friends. I told them this app is ALMOST perfect as it would be great to add the text function.... and then now, BOOM! And the gif function?! Oh my gosh, big thanks! Keep it up :)
Yet, some parts like when I want to bend the lines, the pixels moves, which the pixels can be seen clearly. And the size of the work after being printed is kinda off-sized. Also, it would be even better to add more brushes. Thx

Thank you for the update! I really like the clipping mask function but It would be great if this function can also be apply to layer groups instead of layers only. Also the automatic selection tool would be more efficient if it can sample all visible layers.

I’ve been using this for many years and I’m still waiting for the devs to add functions to make drawing more efficient. Could devs please consider the people who wish to use this for professional work and at least let us choose to pin panels on the screen instead of doing many taps? Now I only want to use Paintstorm studio because it lets me put shortcut buttons on screen. If you could add that then I can use this a lot more.

Procreate overall is a good app, it is simple and easy to use and it has lots of good functions. I especially like the ‘quickshape’ function. I think that they could improve by adding more brushes. Although there is a variety of brushes I think that they could add more sketching brushes and improve/modify their old ones. I don’t know if it’s just me but I think that’s there are some brushes that are quite useless

Although the app allows people to draw in different art styles, the “blending” feature isn’t as good as the other functions provided and it’s quite a drawback for me personally. The colours look muddy and low saturated when I tried to blend them, which is an issue that never happens in other applications like the Photoshop, MediBang, or Paint Tool Sai. （ I would like you guys to take a look at Paint Tool Sai, it’s a free painting application and their blending tool is fun to play with )
It will be a big help to numerous digital artists if you guys evaluate and improve on the blending feature.

I use this as my main drawing app with my iPad Pro and it works beautifully! Very easy to use and many customisation options.
But I would like a few more updates. Like maybe adding pre-made colour palettes or maybe changing the material of the paper and some other things could be added.
Anyways, this is an amazing app for serious and non-serious artists and is well worth the purchase, all I want to see next is more functions because in my opinion, it is a little too simple.
Other than that, it is a must buy.

Freeze when you zoom in and out

The app is amazing easy to use. But it freeze when you try to zoom in and out, I have already update both the app and iOS, the problem seems like is getting worst. Please fix this issue, it is getting really annoying.

Basically, this app is really good for drawing and easy to learn, BUT.......After update the app around a month ago, found that the app always freeze in action, and unexpected quit, and also the brush stroke get bad effect as well..... the stroke line and effect doesn’t make sense..... finally got another update last week, and claim fixed those problem, BUT....... the freeze problem even bad, and more easy happen unexpected quit.... a bit disappointed.
