Happy, but...

There is a bug which did not allow me from iPhone or iPad to continue to next course of a specialization. Mainly due to this I missed a month while still being deducted with the fee. If following a specialization, make sure to use a computer too.

Scrambled order

Vidéos are presented in a scrambled order.
Order of selected courses changes what makes it difficult to find the course we want to work on.
Removing and reloading app doesn’t help.

The courses are great but the app is not there yet

My app is working offline for a while now, which I don’t know why. I can’t do my learning on my mobile anymore. The update didn’t help. Please make the app better as Coursera is a very good learning platform.

Amateurish look AND incompetent coding

Which every update, the login is lost ! The last update is a piece of art. When you tap email, the password field is moving down; and therefore IMPOSSIBLE to fill. Who coded this mess should take in the 1st place some coursera training. Amateurs.

Crashes all the time

Coursera was once a great app, but the current version is unusable in offline mode, crashing all the time. I don't know what they did, but it was definitely not an improvement.

Extra => idée d'amélioration

Super appli :
- Synchronisation du texte lu et écrit
- Possibilité d'arrêter les vidéos et de reprendre où on en était ou où on le souhaite à partir du texte
- Possibilité de travailler off line
Dommage de ne pas avoir toutes les notes au même endroit. Avec par exemple le nom de la partie et du chapitre correspondant à chaque prise de note.

360Fr für 5x 1.5h

Mein Sohn hat sich für das Thema 3D Druck interessiert und hat in der App einen Kurs gefunden einer Hochschule in den USA. Der Haken ist dass die Teilnahme 360 Fr kostet! Für mich ist das nicht die Vision der Bildung für alle und wenn öffentlich finanzierte Hochschulen Schülern Geld aus der Tasche ziehen wollen dann finde ich das nicht in Ordnung. Ich werde die App löschen.

Newest update of the app crashesvon iPhone 6 plus

I updated the Coursera App three days ago on May 15. Ever since, when I try to open it, it immediately shuts down again. Before it always worked just fine.
Please revert to the working version.

Easy to use when traveling

I found this app quite useful. It is handy to use when traveling (you can download lessons and use it offline). It now offers almost same quality as PC version. I use it on IPad. On smartphones I found it hard to use on a small screen.

No substitute for the website

While it is handy to have most of the content on the tablet, too many features from the website are missing. For example, you cannot take mini – quizzes during video lectures. Also some homework is not possible from the app.

Great for travel

It's great to be able to watch the course lectures on your phone when you don't have your laptop. Unfortunetly you can't take certain assesments, and videos sometimes block requiring you to restart the app.

it will steal your time

it's only usefull in conditions where you might as well use a pc. in the metro/bus the internet connection is not steady enough because it forces you to stream the full hd videos. The download function doesn't work and you can't choose a lower resolution.
