A photo pops up on your screen. Could be a narrow street, a mountain range, a temple, or a highway sign in a language you don't recognize. Your job? Figure out where in the world it was taken.
That's GeoGuess. No complicated rules, no tutorials. Just you, a photo, and four country options. Pick one before the timer runs out. The faster you answer, the more points you get.
HOW IT WORKS
Each game is 5, 10, or 15 rounds - your choice. You'll get a mix of easy, medium, and hard photos. Easy ones might show something obvious - a famous landmark or a well-known skyline. Hard ones? A dirt road with a single sign in the distance. Good luck with those.
After each round, you'll see the correct answer, the exact location on a map, and a bit of info about the place. You'll learn stuff without even trying.
7 CATEGORIES
- World Landmarks: Iconic places everyone should recognize. Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Machu Picchu, and dozens more. Great for warming up.
- Europe: Cobblestone streets in Portugal, canals in Amsterdam, villages in the Swiss Alps. From famous cities to places you've never heard of.
- Asia & Oceania: Temples in Cambodia, neon-lit streets in Tokyo, beaches in New Zealand. Huge variety, lots of surprises.
- Americas: Everything from the Grand Canyon to a random intersection in Buenos Aires. North and South, coast to coast.
- Africa & Middle East: Deserts, markets, wildlife reserves, ancient ruins. The category that catches most people off guard.
- Nature & Landscapes: No buildings, no signs - just raw nature. Waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers, forests. Pure visual guessing.
- City Streets: Everyday urban scenes from around the globe. Taxis, storefronts, street food carts. Feels like actually being there.
