There are a huge number of movie formats, and VLC can convert most of them - but it can't convert everything. If you have any doubts, then please try the free version of this application first.

A really good media player interface.
Unfortunately it has to convert vids first so its ok to stream but slow to copy (nearly 1:1 film length necessary).
However as long as copyright issues block apps like AVplayer its definitely one of the best choices.

On en rêvait, l'équipe de VLC l'a fait ! Pouvoir regarder sur son iTruc, sa télé (via l'apple TV quand même) son film préféré, c'est un must.
Pouvoir sauver le dit film sur son iTruc, c'est top.
Manque la possibilité de récupérer le film de l'iTruc vers le Mac (ou alors j'ai pas trouvé comment ;-) ).
En tout cas, une appli à ne pas manqué.
