Since the change from sync to downloads i keep having problems that did not exist with sync. It was not perfect but at least most of the time it worked.
What also keeps on failing is the picture in picture Feature. It does crash a lot even with Downloaded content.
Its not the quality that one is used from Plex.

I am a big fan of Plex and proud pass owner. But as the app is rated 12+, i cant install it on my kids tablets. They are 6 and 9 and the ipad kids set up restricted the apps based on age. Can you please set the age to 4+? Without a server and so on a kid can‘t do anything bad with it anyway.

I’ve been using the app for years. Currently I almost throw my iPad out of the window because of it.
The current version crashes regularly and the new and „improved“ synch method or download as it is called now is simple unusable. I want the old one back which had it‘s quirks, but at least worked. Offline watching is the most important feature for me and if this does not work, then I might need to copy files again.
Please get the app fixed. No new features, just get it fixed. And yes, I’m always running the latest version of Plex on my server so this also can not be the issue.

I like your product. Best way to consume my media. Only thing i‘d wish for would be a setting, individual for each media file while playing it, to make it possible to balance the sound volume, making louder parts quieter and vice versa. Rest is top. Keep up the good work.

Bonjour, je cherche une app de streaming vidéo normale que je puisse acheter avec iTunes. Je n’ai pas de carte bancaires donc je n’ai pas d’autre possibilités. Je trouve cette app et en fait je vois que l’anglais est la seule langue sur votre app. J’ai été incité à acheter l’abonnement avant même de comprendre que je me suis fait avoir par le manque d’indications de leur part. Je manque d’argent et j’achète une carte iTunes par choix personnel. Je m’ennuie et je cherche quelque chose pour regarder films et séries, mais EN VF. Je demande le remboursement de ces 5 francs suisses de l’abonnement que j’ai bien sûr payé avant de résilier directement. Merci.

i have been with plex since the beginning and have advertised a lot in my circle of friends, but for some time there have been bugs about which the reports pile up in the forum for months, but there is no reaction, let alone a solution from plex. my biggest problem at the moment is that i can no longer look at pictures in the ios app. the app freezes. there are tons of error logs on the forum, but plex hasn't bothered about them for months.

The app crash one or twice when watching a movie
Sometimes the sound stop but the video/films continue, i have to reload the film/serie at each time it happens ...... (2-3-4 time in a 45 min serie episode by example)

Great app! Beats the iTunes/AppleTV combination in great lengths. The server companion app could be easier to use and takes a little to know it but has a lot of great features.
