Au départ enthousiaste, je suis de plus en plus déçu par Waze. Une communauté paresseuse qui ne prend pas la peine de rappeler les radars fixes (surtout en Suisse) et des fonctions pourtant importantes qui ne sont pas disponibles via CarPlay, comme les routes fermées. Peut mieux faire !

Aucune possibilité d’effectuer un itinéraire pour véhicule électrique, rien pour trouver une borne de recharge …, je trouve ça désolant alors que apparemment en France il existe un onglet dans l’application (pourquoi cette différence entre pays…).
J’ai désinstallé et réinstaller plusieurs fois, rien y fait !
Perso un peu moins de look bande dessinée et un peu plus de sérieux ne ferait pas de mal !
Alors 2 étoiles pour moi c’est bien assé et je vais retourner planifier avec Google stchaooo

Seulement, je me demande si les développeurs ont compris que c’est une app qui s’utilise essentiellement en roulant.
Enfin, oui, ils l’ont compris, vu qu’on te rappelle à tout va que tu dois bla bla bla la route, bla bla bla le volant etc….
Dire qu’il ne faut pas interagir avec l’application en roulant et la truffer de boutons à cliquer, des menus d’où tu ne sais pas comment revenir et quand il y a un bouton, il est… minuscule(!), ça me laisse une impression d’hypocrisie et de mal foutu!
Avoir une interface « intelligente » serait déjà de considérer de quel côté est le conducteur pour lui mettre les boutons du côté le plus proche, je trouve qu’ils sont souvent à l’opposé… la taille du texte et des boutons est également trop petite, en comparaison avec la place (je n’arrive jamais à lire les infos de route; par contre, le nom des cartouches qui masquent - toujours - les zones où tu dois être attentif-tive), ça, tu les voit!! Un peu trop, même. Les alertes sonores - misérables - non programmables, alors qu’on te propose des voix et des commentaires sous toutes leurs formes à chaque événement de l’année…
Mais, ce qui me désole dans cette app, c’est surtout la place perdue… tout ce vide inutile qui pourrait être utilisé pour améliorer la visibilité avec des texté plus lisibles, l’interaction plus aisée… pour tout le monde. Mais non!
Alors, trois étoiles, c’est bien payé. Ça ne mérite vraiment pas plus.

Waze does not route roads which are marked as private, which is wrong and makes Waze just about usable. Private roads are a sign of responsibility, but do not impose traffic restrictions per se. Public accessible private roads are legally open to drive on. A judge ruling only would be able to limit it, which would be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Please correct!

Warum werden nicht alle wichtigen Strassenschilder angezeigt und bei einer Routenplanung mit Berücksichtigung. Die Daten dafür liegen vor. Zum Beispiel Einschränkungen von Durchfahrtshöhe, Gewicht, Breite, Anhänger verbot usw. usw.

I automatically got a new version of the application. The bad experience started with a simple fact: most of my config parameters were lost (e.g. I didn't want to hear voice instructions, the updated version had voice instructions active). Not a big issue but definitely annoying.
CarPlay does no longer function as intended. If I try to enter a destination, the app finds the address, but makes it impossible to launch navigation to get there. I could go on with various other annoyances, the bottom line is that I'm back to Google Maps.

Ich nutze Waze nun schon seit einem Monat und bin begeistert von der App. Die Routenführung ist super und Staus werden im Voraus gemeldet. Was mich etwas gestört hat war, dass man viele Inhalte erstmal konfigurieren muss, bevor man loslegen kann (z.B. alle Vignetten hinzufügen, sonst wird man immer aus der Autobahn herausgelotst oder dass man den Chat der ab und zu nervig ist auf der Autobahn nicht sieht).
Ausserdem würde ich mir auch wünschen, dass man die Tachoanzeige beliebig verschieben könnte. Leider sehe ich diese aufgrund der Platzierung und meines Lenkrads nicht.

Sometimes the app just stops navigating while I am on a straight road, I still see the map, but no directions are given anymore.
Sometimes Waze also plays weird sounds and I don't know what Waze wants to tell me with that.
When coming from other apps and navigate to a certain position on the Map, Waze directs me to the wrong side (it always works on Google Maps).
The good part is that I can mark a road as closed, which doesn't work with Google Maps.

An und für sich ziemlich gut, aber ich würde mir wünschen, dass wie bei Google Maps, die Orte Arbeit und zuhause auf der Karte ausgewählt werden können. Ein Resümee der Fahrt (gefahrene Kilometer, benötigte Zeit) wäre auch schön - gibt’s ebenfalls bei Maps.
Ausserdem wäre es äusserst angenehm, wenn sich einstellen liesse, dass der Positionspfeil sich in einem Tunnel, das heisst bei Abreissen des GPS Empfangs, einfach auf der zuletzt gefahrenen Strasse weiterbewegt, statt sinnlos herumzuspringen (Apple Karten kann das).
Wenn das im nächsten Update gelöst würde, dann wäre Waze eine wirklich gute Alternative zu den üblichen Navigationsprogrammen.

Are you guys for real?
First you add Spotify controls: AWESOME! So much better than going back and forth, and the look is great!
Then you make the screen asymmetrical in landscape mode, so my car is over to the side - which I can't even pick - to add unimportant crap like the text map information - who cares about that while driving?
Seriously, fix it or at least give the option to turn it off, this is abysmal!
