I played the original version years ago - did not have a look at it for a long time. Still the lovely game with all the mysterious "things" you have to solve. Don't use the hints too quick, if you are stuck somewhere - search for the solution. Tha's what makes that game so fascinating.
The help pages should be integrated in the game itself - they will fit somewhere in that 700MB-file. Leave the hints online, but do integrate some basic offline-help.

Darauf habe ich lange gewartet, endlich gibt es ein "richtiges" game auf dem iphone. Mein eindruck ist, dass es einiges flüssiger läuft wie damals die mac- und pc-version. Der sound ist auch genial ( itte mit kopfhöhrern spielen)

Immersion parfaite dans un monde qui a accompagné ma jeunesse... Le plaisir y est infini...et les énigmes toujours aussi difficiles. On attend plus que Riven pour continuer l'aventure !!

I did not knew myst before. However, this is a really nice game and I really enjoyed to play.
I'm not really a famer, but that one kept me busy for a few days.
This loveley game really deserves five stars!

C'est le retour d'un classique du jeu vidéo sorti en 1993. Je le conseille à tout le monde.

du kannst überall anfangen spielt keine rolle jedes land hat 2 buchseiten ( rot und blau) auf der insel wo du startest findest du in der rakete in der turm uhr im holzhaus im schiff und im zahnrad ein buch das dich in eines der länder bringt. frag jetzt nicht wie man zum buch kommt du hast n integrierten hint guide und für die ganz doofen gibts lösungsbücher im internet. aber das spiel ist ein rätsel spiel also rätsle und nun gib ihnen ne gute bewertung.

Wow! Myst on the iPhone! I love it. Used to play it for hours and hours 10 years ago. Now all we need is Riven for the iPhone!

Achtung, Abriss
Myst war mir bekannt, als gutes Spiel aus alten Zeiten. Leider ist es zu alt.
Die Standbilder lassen einen weder drehen noch Zoomen. Die angepriesene iPhone gerechte Steuerung führt bei eine Wischen mit dem Finger zum benachbarten Bild. Sind an einer Kreuzung nur 2 Wege möglich, führt der Blick nach links wie nach rechts auf das gleiche Bild, was verwirrend und falsch ist.
Die Steinzeit ist vorbei, das Programm ist sein Geld nicht wert.

wirklich gut gelöst für das iphone. leider ist das display für die schöne bilder wirklich zu klein. würde mich für die nachfolger von myst freuen ;-)

Revolution
Endlich, eine wahrhaftige Revolution. Was man früher nächtelang vor der Mattscheibe verbringen musste, kann man heute im Zug, im Park oder einfach im Bett vor dem schlafengehen. So macht Computerspielen Spass, da werde sogar ich zum Gamer. Myst, the best game ever, neu auch zum mitnehmen.

Myst nach 10 Jahren zu spielen ist super. Leider vermisse ich das bekannte iPhone zoom im Spiel. Man könnte viele details besser sehen.

Die langersehnte Welt von Myst ...
und ihre Rätsel ergeben auch nach 10 Jahren noch immer die fantasievollste Reise. Ein wunderbares Spiel für jene, die nicht nur möglichst schnell das Ziel erreichen wollen. Bin gespannt ob es Cyan möglich sein wird die weiteren Spiele auf s iPhone zu portieren. ( Unbedingt mit Kopfhörer spielen und je nach Umgebungslicht Displayhelligkeit aufschrauben )

Das Spiel lädt nicht. Bzw. es startet nicht richtig. Was kann ich tun? habe bereits zweimal installiert. Auch hab ich das IPhone geresettet.

Nur für Myst-Liebhaber
Toll gemacht. Jedoch oft zu dunkel. Die Möglichleit zur Vergrösserung und ein helleres Bild wären nötig, um das Spiel zu geniessen. Vermutlich freuen sich nur alte Myst-freunde an dem remake.

Great Adaptation of the Classic
This is Myst, in all its dated but still irresistible glory. A faithful revival of the classic. The adaptation to the iPhone is very well done — it shows that it was done by Cyan Worlds themselves. While the small glary screen isn’t the most appropriate for total immersion, the touch interface is perfect. This game belongs on a touch device. Those parts that would have ended up too fiddly when taken straight from the mouse-driven original have been enhanced with subtle magnification or other effects that fit in naturally and work very well.
If you loved Myst, you will be delighted at the possibility to take it with you and show it to your friends. If you hated Myst, this probably won’t change your mind, given that it is the same slide show as 16 years ago. And if you weren’t around back then — if you think exploring strange and beautiful places at your own pace, armed with nothing but your wits, solving puzzles, and discovering an intriguing story might be your thing: give it a try. And don’t forget that there is still a vibrant online community surrounding the Myst universe that would welcome you with open arms.

Impresive migration to the iPhone. I love it.
I had been a big fan of the PC version. I spent a whole weekend playiong it thru and I still love playing it now and than. Having it on the iPhone now made me cry for you. The gameplay is esy to use, hints are available online too and it runs smoothly. The graphics and videos are good for the display and the size of over 700 mb for a iPhone game, WOW. I hope people will still like adventures like this, I do for my part.
