A fonctionné un petit coup, puis plus moyen de me reconnecter. Suis peut-être nul, mais pour moi c'est inutilisable, j'ai pris un abonnent de 8.-CHF. C'était à l'aéroport de Boston

Beim Kauf der App wird nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass man ein monatliches Abo zu 7,95$ löst. Dieses lässt sich auch nicht einfach kündigen. Auf der Supportseite lässt sich das Abo lediglich noch erweitern!

Service was once great, but nowadays boingo does not even manage anymore to connect its own networks at the first or second attend. Not sure if I will stay customer if this will not change in the near future...

Tromperie ou incompétence ?
Alors que Boingo avait un partenariat avec Swisscom Mobile (Suisse) et que celui-ci est toujours annoncé sur son site, j'ai découvert par moi-même que ce n'était plus le cas alors Boingo affirmait que les problèmes de connexion étaient dus à des difficultés temporaires. Tromperie ou incompétence ? Je vous laisse juger, mais Boingo perd du coup son intérêt pour la Suisse.

OK Service but not perfect
The boingo app itself is ok when it works. Recently I have been receiving a lot of error messages causing failed connections when my colleagues have been able to connect ok through other partners. App often refuses to log off as well. Generally my opinion of Boingo is gradually getting worse.

Not useful in Nepal though, it has many hotspots worldwide, and they work great... When there are hotspots!!

einfach Genial
Da ich viel unterwegs bin, lohnt es sich diese Abos zu lösen.
Einfach genial wie einfach man überall bei vielen Hotspot einloggen kann ohne jedesmal manuel einzuloggen und immer die Kredit Karte eingeben muss.

Sehr praktisch!
In Verbindung mit einem Boingo Mobile-Konto eine äusserst nützliche Applikation. Genial wäre es, wenn noch eine Datenbank mit den WLAN-Standorten integriert wäre. So könnte man rasch auf dem iPod Touch (optimalerweise ohne Internetverbindung) den nächsten WLAN Hotspot finden.

Funktioniert
Habe mal die 30 Tage Trial Version. Ist super, man muss an den öffentlichen Hotspots nicht mehr mühsam einen Code eingeben. Bis jetzt in der Schweiz alles gefunden. Gehe jetzt ins Ausland für weitere Tests.

Auch im Ausland perfekt. Zuerst im Internet schauen ob es einen Hotspot hat und los geht's.
