Als erstes Final Fantasy mit 3D-Hintergründen und CG-Filmsequenzen ist diese dramatische Erzählung weiterhin ein Liebling weltweiter Fans. Kampfszenen werden ebenfalls zum ersten Mal auch in 3D erscheinen und verstärken so den Eindruck von Ehrfurcht und Spektakel im Kampf!
Passe deine Charaktere beliebig an mit dem fantastischen „Materia-System“, das endlose Kombinationen von Fähigkeiten und Zaubern erlaubt.
Dieses Produkt ist ein auf Final Fantasy VII (PC) basierender Port (Es wurden keine Ergänzungen oder Änderungen an der Geschichte vorgenommen).
Geschichte
Der Megakonzern Shinra Inc. monopolisiert die Produktion von Mako-Energie und herrscht damit über die Welt.
Eines Tages wird ein Mako-Reaktor, der die ausgedehnte Metropole Midgar mit Energie versorgt, durch eine Bombenattacke der Rebellengruppe Avalanche zerstört.
Cloud Strife, ein ehemaliges Mitglied der Shinra-Elitetruppe SOLDIER, war am Anschlag beteiligt und setzt damit Ereignisse in Gang, die ihn und seine Freunde tief in einen sagenhaften Kampf um die Zukunft des Planeten selbst ziehen ...
Spezielle Features für die iOS-Version
- Spiele mit einem einfachen und bequemen virtuellen Kontroller, der so entworfen wurde, dass er die Action nicht verdeckt. Wähle zwischen virtuellem Analog-Pad oder fixiertem, digitalen Steuerungskreuz. Die Transparenz der Tasten kann im Konfig-Menü angepasst werden.
- Zwei neue Features, um das Spiel einfacher und bequemer zu machen!
Die iOS-Version enthält die Option, Feindesbegegnungen in Welt- und Gebietskarten abzustellen (Ereigniskämpfe werden nicht übersprungen) und eine Max. Status-Funktion, mit der du innerhalb eines Augenblicks allmächtig wirst.

- Die Steuerung der folgenden Minigames wurde optimiert:
U-Boot, G-Bike, Snowboard, Achterbahn (zum Schießen Bildschirm antippen), Chocobo-Rennen und Fort Condor.
- Namen können nun unter den Einstellungen im Weltkartenmenü geändert werden.
- Diverse kleinere Probleme wurden behoben.

Been a fan of FF7 since its release on ps1. IMO this is a good port with some teething exceptions. Has everything I loved about it. Ability to turn off enemy encounters at any time gave me mixed feelings. Played on an iPhone Xs.
What I liked :
• True to original, looks and feels closer to the original on PS1 (than, say, its PC cousin)
• didn’t try to “fix” the bugs we love
• lets u switch between A and D pad
• no disc switching needed, all auto cruise
• Auto-run on, hold button to walk
• Your game’s still waiting for u when u get back, long as the app wasn’t force-closed
• added option to turn off random enemy encounters
Didn’t like :
• coloured bars on sides of screen
• crashed once after battle
• some things too auto, cutting out the fun - 1) RNG seems simpler than PS1, makes chocobo breeding much less fun. 2) As another reviewer noted, the hidden buttons aren’t hidden anymore. 3) Can turn off random enemy encounters anytime, too easy sometimes, making enemy away materia useless and as a result -
• The time you get to explore each character eg Aeris feels a lot shorter, getting great gospel feels more redundant
• materia menu - still manual sort only
All in all, it’s a great conversion of the classic game; still I would’ve loved to have different modes tho, eg a story mode (turn off random encounters anytime) and maybe a normal mode (can turn off enemy encounters for limited time or enemy encounters always on).

Amazing game! But the tittle needs an optimisation for the newer iPhones (I play it on iPhone 11) for that prize it should be software supported!

The game itself is the same as it was when it originally was released; so pretty good.
The port (how it is displayed on iPhone /iPad) is VERY bad though. It just displays all the controls over the picture, and even the cheat buttons are displayed all the times.
Also no support for iPhone X, the size of the game visuals fills an area about the size of an iPhone 4, despite the iPhone X having a much larger display. Seems that this will not be changed since the last update is from 2 years ago.
Don‘t buy it and wait, SE will probably release a new port that you have to purchase again soon.

Quel plaisir de jouer à un chef d’oeuvre du jeu vidéo sur iPhone. Pas toujours facile à maitriser sur un petit écran, mais bon travail d’adaptation. Pas d’achat in app, un vrai scénario, de belles cinématiques, un vrai jeu, quoi! Merci Square Enix!

Good old game now portable. No lags or bugs( till now).It would be nice to have the option to slow down the walkingspeed though. So I can play further. Stuck in the home of Aeris, when you have to sneak out, can do 3 steps and then she hears me everytime. Else I would give a 5 stars rating.

Hätte mir eine volle touch bedienung gewünscht. Vorallem für die kämpfe.

A défaut d'avoir un système de classe, FFVII est rempli de subtilités grâce aux Materias.
Côté histoire... Elle touche, est émouvante et sans l'ombre d'un défaut.
Un achat obligatoire pour tous les nostalgiques de ce splendide jeu et de la PS1 ainsi que pour ceux voulant le découvrir.
