This application collects user related information using Google Analytics including product name, operation records and any potential fault information as well as the basic information collected by Google Analytics.

Licht und Schatten – Deezer nicht gut integriert

Die App ist an sich schön gemacht, hat aber Mängel.
So kommt bspw. bei Deezer die Liste der Alben aus der eigenen Sammlung komplett unsortiert in zufälliger Reihenfolge. Viel Spass beim Durchsuchen der Library...
Auf dem Wiedergabe-Screen kann man z.B. weder bei Deezer noch beim Spielen ab USB in Songs vor- oder zurückspulen.
Ansonsten ist die App snappy, recht schön gemacht und auch ziemlich stabil.

Version 3.03 hat die App verschlimmbessert. Auf iPhoneX dauert nun der Senderwechsel eine gefühlte Ewigkeit. Ich war bis anhin recht begeistert von der App.

As an AV integrated I often use yamaha AVR due to MusicCast.
I like the app being able to easily control multizone functionallity of the home cinema amplifiers.
Since the latest iOS update when I try to link the two zones into one zone it fails.
What happens is that Zone 2 will turn on and input is changed to Main Sync. It plays the same music but controlling volume is a hassle now since you can‘t easily control the volume like that.
Please fix this bug since I had many of my clients call me about it.

Na ja... MusicCast = Streaming von Webradio und Spotify auf alle MusicCast Komponenten, aber mehr nicht. Mein Reciever R-N602 sollte laut Yamaha jede Audioquelle an die weiteren Yamaha MusicCast Komponenten streamen können (z.B. das Audiosignal vom TV, den angeschlossenen CD-Player etc.) Dabei entstehen aber so grosse Zeitverzögerungen welche sich wie ein Echo in einer riesigen Turnhalle anhören. Also nicht brauchbar. Selbst dann nicht, wenn alle Komponenten mit einem LAN-Kabel verbunden werden...

Great sound but app could be improved

Overall Yamaha sound experience is amazing. But this app can be improved :
- not compatible with Apple Music ( has to switch to Spotify to use the WiFi functionality)
- it brands to be compatible with Airplay, but only one device at a time ! Airplay does not support multi device, which I thought was the whole point of the multi-room system
- something needs to be updated: on IOS 11.2 the app is a huge battery drain (it uses up to 80% of my battery on iphoneX), even when background app refresh is off and the app is not used
Apart from that, the link function works great (WiFi + Spotify for example) , perfect sync across devices

Gutes Konzept, aber leider lässt die Stabilität und nicht zuletzt die Synchronität oft sehr zu wünschen übrig. Was einem seit Beginn mit dem unabhängigen Yamaha-Netzwerk an Stabilität versprochen wurde, funktioniert im Alltag leider allzuoft nicht.
Bitte endlich nachbessern, Sonos kann das ja schon lange!

I keep loosing the internet station list (my favorites) whenever I leave the app and switch back. Need to reload the favorites list every time. There is no button to display the station list from the "now playing" display.

zeigt alle Bluetooth Geräte an, die jemals verbunden wurden. Wäre schön, wenn die Liste der Bluetoothgeräte auch gelöscht werden könnte. Nutze die App nur um Bluetooth Lautsprecher zu verbinden, ansonsten steuere ich mein Gerät mit der AV Controller App. Wäre super, wenn von der AV Controller App auch so einfach Bluetooth Lautsprecher verbunden werden könnten.
