This is a classic among the solo piping albums. It features a well balanced combination of solo tunes and arrangements incorporating accompanying instruments. Despite it's age all recordings on this album are of flawless quality.

This album was produced two years after Fred had won the Gold Medal at the Northern Meeting. Fred has moved away from the competition scene as a competitor and is until today developing his style further. He is nowadays regarded as the most innovative and entertaining performer alive and a major activist in promoting the pipes to the "rest" of the Celtic Folk scene.
